Philadelphia Mixing Solutions, Ltd. Provides Optimum Efficiency with Ragging Resistant Impeller
Palmyra, Pennsylvania, December 16, 2011 – Philadelphia Mixing Solutions, Ltd. (PMSL) announces the addition of the XELSC-2200 ragging resistant impeller to its line of advanced impeller offerings. This newest impeller combines ragging resistant design with Focused Flow technology for an efficient method of solving one of the most common occurrences in the wastewater treatment process: debris collection which results in premature gear failure.
Made from composite materials to provide corrosion resistance, the XELSC-2200 fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) prop employs PMSL’s new patent pending “circular rake” technology for optimized performance coupled with a hyper skewed blade profile. The XELSC-2200’s ability to reflect debris increases the gear box bearing life, maintains shaft alignment and reduces gear fatigue ensuring a longer cost-saving maintenance program.
The XELSC-2200 can be used in any application where ragging prevention is required. Its design provides high flow with low power input making it ideal for digesters, anoxic zones, sludge storage tanks, and any solids suspension application.
In addition, PMSL offers a complete line of purpose-built designs developed to handle your highly specialized process needs.
